Resources: Where to Find Stuff

Wellness Warrior Herbal Medicines and Essential Oils:

For years I searched for a truly excellent quality essential oil brand. Many brands spoke of their lab testing or call themselves the most trusted or “leading brand,” etc. but when I asked simple questions like, “Are the herbs grown organically?” they couldn’t (or wouldn’t) tell me. Then I met a woman at a conference who started her own brand of essential oils. She told me how she buys the oils either directly from herb farmers who grow the herbs organically and steam-distill the oils on site, or from a wholesale supplier who gets the oils straight from those farmers. She told me about how she visited many of these farmers personally and saw their farms and their oil-distilling equipment, how she is happy to show her oil’s lab test results to any customers who want to see them (which many of the big oil companies won’t do), how some essential oil manufacturers actually “fractionate” their oils - removing a substance from one oil and adding it to another (this makes them patent-able)!
Her oils are now the only ones I recommend for medicinal use. I even decided to partner with her business on some projects. When you order, please let them know that Chris sent you. I get a little commission.

A good enema kit

This is the one I use. I prefer the bag over the bucket because it hangs from a towel rack instead of sitting on a counter. That way it can’t get spilled accidentally. I use these for coffee enemas and other herbal retention enemas.

Elixa Probiotic

I’ve tried many pro-biotics over the years. Most take a long time to produce noticeable changes - partly because stomach acid destroys bacteria and it takes a long time for enough to sneak by your stomach acid to make a difference. This pro-biotic uses more bacterial strains, more total bacterial cells in each dose, and a capsule that opens only once it reaches the small intestine. When I use Elixa, I notice a difference in my digestive system in 2-3 days. My clients usually report similar results.

Dr. Christopher’s herb shop

Single herbs, formulas, supplies, etc. I recommend several of their formulas to my clients (e.g., in the cleansing protocols).

American Botanical Pharmacy

Dr. Schulze’s original clinical formulas. I recommend several of these formulas in my healing protocols (e.g., superfood, colon cleanse formulas).

Starwest Botanicals

Bulk single herbs.

Mountain Rose Herbs

Bulk single herbs.

Pacific Botanicals

Bulk single herbs. They have minimum orders which may or may not be a fit for you, but they are a good source for many fresh herbs.

DNAVibe

One of the red light devices I use. I have seen excellent results using it with clients. If you’d like to know all the things it’s good for, go to PubMed below and search for LLLT (Low Level Light/Laser Therapy), NIR (Near Infrared), or PBM (Photobiomodulation). If you order from them, please enter Littleton Massage and Sports Recovery (LMSR) as your referral.

PubMed

Summaries of medical studies on a variety of topics. One of many great places to start your research on something or just satisfy your curiosity.

Apricot Power

A good source for apricot seeds and vitamin B17.

Plum Dragon Herbs

They sell the Ancestors Advanced Iron Palm Dit-Da-Jow liniment that I use on my hands and often recommend to fellow massage therapists, anyone who uses their hands a ton,and anyone with arthritis. NOTE: This is a topical formula. EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
